• Enhanced Wide Dynamic Range
Spectra IVs 128X WDR capability compensates for those scenes where dramatic contrasts in lighting are present, resulting in usable video regardless of glare, direct sunlight or shadows.
• Electronic Image Stabilization
With such a large optical zoom lens, Spectra IV SE has been engineered with an advanced electronic image stabilization algorithm, which helps prevent the image from blurring due to vibrations caused by external sources such as wind or traffic.
• Event Scheduler
Let Spectra IV SE do the work. Based on an internal clock, Pre-programme Patterns, Presets, Alarms and Relays, and the system will become your automated security force.
• Motion Detection
Spectra IV systems offer user-definable motion detection settings for each preset scene; can activate auxiliary outputs; three sensitivity levels per zone.
• Window Blanking
Window blanking allows a user to program up to eight, four-sided, user-defined areas that cannot be viewed by the operator of the dome system. A blanked area will move with pan and tilt functions and automatically adjust in size as the lens zooms telephoto and wide.
• Complete Modularity
For more than ten years, Pelcos approach to modular system design has meant flexibility and performance in any number of environments. Spectra is the most flexible, adaptable dome positioning system that has ever been made.
• Back Box Options
It all begins with the back box. Traditionally, memory for location-specific operating parameters such as preset positions, alarm functions and camera settings resided in the dome drive. Of course, this is the one component that is most likely to be changed or moved to another location. With Spectra IV SE, all location-specific settings are stored in non-volatile memory within the dome enclosure, meaning all programming for a site location is retained, regardless of how many times the dome drive is changed. Black Box options include:
- Standard Pendant
- Environmental Pendant
- Surface-Mount
- In-Ceiling
- Environmental In-Ceiling
- Heavy-Duty Pendant
- Heavy-Duty In-Ceiling
- Stainless Steel
- Pressurized Environmental, Heavy-Duty Pendant
- Endura IP Video System
• Dome Drive Flexibility
The Dome Drive module is the heart of every Spectra IV system. The Dome Drive encapsulates the integrated optics package, positioning system, and processing unit within an interchangeable system component.
Spectra currently offers six distinct Dome Drives to meet the demands of any installation. And, of course, any of these optics packages work with any of the back boxes listed above. Its easy to see how the choices add up when you choose Spectra and were not even done yet.
- 16x Zoom Lens, DSS LowLight
- 18x Zoom Lens with Day/Night Camera, DSS LowLight
- 22x Zoom Lens with Monochrome Camera, DSS LowLight
- 22x Zoom Lens with Color Camera, DSS LowLight
- 23x Zoom Lens with Day/Night Camera, DSS LowLight, Wide Dynamic Range and Motion Detection
- 35x Zoom Lens with Day/Night Camera, DSS LowLight, Wide Dynamic Range and Motion Detection, Electronic Image Stabilization
• Communications Systems
Spectra IV products are capable of transmitting video and translating data in several different formats through multiple communication module choices. Video can be output over coax, unshielded twisted pair (UTP), multi-mode fiber, single mode fiber, or TCP/IP. By selecting one of the 7 optional protocol translation boards (TXB), the Spectra IV product can receive and translate alternate PTZ control protocols internally, without the need for an external translation box.
• Lower Dome Options
As you can tell, the choices and variety are numerous. But theres more to the story. Depending on the demands of your specific installation, Spectra offers a number of lower domes from which to choose. From clear and smoked bubbles to vandal-resistant, heavy-duty cage models, all are thoroughly tested for quality assurance and designed to meet NEMA Type 4X and IP66 Standards.
• Mounting Systems
Now that you have built the Spectra system you need, there still is the matter of installation. With a variety of mounts available, Spectra systems can be seamlessly installed in almost any environment, delivering an aesthetic appeal second to none. Moreover, understanding that there are always some installations that require unique solutions, Pelco offers an SMR Special Manufacturing Requests process that aims to build specialty products, including mounts, to help meet the requirements of installations. |
